Praise for Debut Album, Future Party

“Future Party is the most textural album I have heard all year. Mouse is an appeal to the sublime.”

Future Party [has] a big rock sound that had hints of Longwave or Stellastarr. The melodies [are] lush and the music rock[s] powerfully and it was so nice to be in the room. They had just released a new album and I'm not sure what songs they played but everything was great. Late in the set they played a song with a spooky vibe about breaking down the walls of misery and they closed with a huge rocker about somewhere that I'm not. I need to get to know their music soon. — Tim Lewis WBKM

[Murdering Time is] A hazy, exploratory pop song with a slightly psychedelic ambience. The retro-inspired, slightly abrasive sound aesthetic captures attention for its dreamlike touch. The charismatic, theatrical male vocal approach enhances the mysterious atmosphere of this iconoclastic track. —Pascal DesLaurier, Boulimique de Musique
